Former Harambee Stars captain Musa Otieno Ongao admitted having tested positive for coronavirus.
According to one of Musa’s friends, Otieno had a positive test on Sunday and has since been admitted in a City hospital.
Musa Otieno’s philanthropy through his Kick-Off to Hope Academy has seen him mingling with residents around the Nairobi City owing to his deed of cushioning vulnerable families during the Covid-19 period. Over 600 families in Nairobi’s Maringo Estate have benefited from his project with the former Harambee Stars coach having been involved in other charity events outside Nairobi before the Covid break.
During his playing days, Otieno featured for AFC Leopards and Tusker FC in Kenya but moved to South Africa in 2011 where he featured for Santos Fc in the South African Premier Soccer League.
He has been an assistant coach to Harambee Stars under Bobby Williamson and Stanley Okumbi.
